The Management of Mysore Education Society started M.E.S. Vidyasagara Prof. M.P.L.Sastry Pre-University College in 2002 to cater to the demand of quality education in Rajajinagar area. The College is recognized by the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka.

M.E.S. Vidyasagara Prof. M.P.L.Sastry Pre-University College is coeducational with a student strength of 720.
