Academic Performance

  • The students are periodically evaluated through tests and examinations. Report cards are issued to the students.
  • The details of attendance and marks are sent to the parents every month through SMS.
  • Remedial classes are held for slow-learners and poor-scorers.
  • Well trained faculty assist the students through effective counseling sessions.
  • The meritorious students are awarded with prizes and certificates
  • Best Student Award Class-wise and All Rounder Award of the college (Ekalavya award for boys and Sharade award for girls) on the basis of attendance, academic performance, participation in co-curricular & sports activities and class behavior.
  • Prizes are awarded to first 3 toppers in II PU Public Examination in Science & Commerce Stream & cent percent scorers in every subject.
  • Parents, Students, Teachers meetings are held periodically to update the academic performance of the students.

  • Admission to the Two year Pre-University Course is open to candidates who have passed the SSLC examination of Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, ICSE or CBSE X Standard examination or equivalent examinations recognized by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka Government.
  • Candidates from other states shall be admitted on the production of eligibility certificates, issued by the department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka. Eligibility fee is collected along with the other fees.
Selection and Admission Procedure
  • Only candidates fulfilling all the conditions stipulated for admission may apply.
  • Duly filled application form should be submitted to the college on or before the last dated fixed for the same enclosing the copies of the following documents
  • SSLC/X Standard Mark Statement
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Relevant Caste/Category Certificate(if applicable)
  • SSLC/X Standard Mark Statement
  • Passport size photograph
  • Separate application should be submitted for each combination.
  • The provisional list of selected candidates and the dates on which admissions are made will be announced on the college Notice Board. Individual intimation of selection will not be sent by post or any other means. The candidates have to see the notice Board to know whether they are selected or not.
  • Selection will be made as per the policies and guidelines prescribed by the Management and by the Department of Pre-University Education in Karnataka.
  • The selected candidates for admission should submit the relevant original documents for verification.
  • For payment of admission fee, challan should be obtained from the college office.
  • Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted.

  • Eligible students (SC/ST/OBC) may apply for Government Post Metric Scholarships.
  • MES Students Aid Fund: A small fund raised from students and staff is available to help poor students financially. Poor and Meritorious students may apply to the Principal for Financial Assistance.
  • Government of India merit scholarship is processed through the College Office.


  • The well furnished, spacious and well-ventilated classrooms provide the students with congenial learning atmosphere.
  • The Science and Computer laboratories are well-equipped and well-maintained to meet the standards set by the Department of PU education in Karnataka. The facilities provide in the laboratories coupled with constant guidance and supervision of the teachers help the students develop scientific temperament and sharpen their skills in various experiments.
  • The well stacked library form the resource center for the students. Text Books, Reference books, Magazines and Journals are available the students. The Library caters to the academic needs of the students and helps them to prepare for the various competitive examinations.
  • Conference Hall accommodates students and staff on all functions and activities.
  • Inaugurated in January 2007, the college canteen caters to the students and staff with hygienic, tasty food and snacks within the college campus.
  • The college is situated in the heart of the city which is well connected by public transport.
  • Good parking facility is made available to students and staff.
