1956 Started the College of Arts & Commerce offering the two-year intermediate course
1957 Started offering one-year Pre-University course in Arts & Commerce
  • The Mysore Education Society (MES) formally registered in Malleswaram
  • Teachers College established in Malleswaram
1962 Introduced the PCM & PCB combinations at PU level
1969 Started Science combinations PCM & CBZ at Degree level
  • Started Samskruta Vidya Mandira for Prathama, Kavya & Sahitya levels of training
  • MES Kishora Kendra (KK) School started at ‘Brahmi’ in Malleswaram (second campus) as a State Board un-aided Pre-primary school
1983 Primary section added to the MES KK School
1985 Started PG course in Mathematics at the MES Degree College
1990 High School started at MES KK
1991 Indological Library was established.
1993 Started un-aided MES KK PU College at ‘Brahmi’
1995 SStarted Kalavedi to promote performing arts among students
1998 Rajajinagar campus ‘Vidya Vihara’ established and MES Teachers College shifted to that campus
2001 Composite Degree College bifurcated into independent, aided PU and Degree Colleges
2002 Rangashale’ set up to offer one-year diploma in dramatics
2003 Started Prof. MPL Sastry (unaided) PU College at Rajajinagar
2004 MES KK Public School (ICSE) started in Vidyaranyapura
  • PG unit of Mathematics became a recognized research centre of Bangalore University in Applied Mathematics
  • Started PG course in Kannada
  • Institute of Management (IOM) started at Rajajinagar with BCom, BBM/BBA courses
  • Started Prof. BR Subba Rao (un-aided) PU College at Vidyaranyapura
  • PG unit of Kannada became a recognized research Centre
  • MES Teacher's College Accredited by NAAC(2nd Cycle) with 'A' grade
2016 MES ACS Degree College Accredited by NAAC(3rd Cycle) with 'A' grade
2018 Celebrated Diamond Jubilee & Founder's Day
